Baked scallions are a light, quick, and tasty side dish. These white or pinkish onions have a sweet, delicate taste and are tender. This vegetable can be found all year round because it is often grown in greenhouses. The season in which they can be grown in the garden is spring. This vegetable is rich in mineral salts. Once purchased, they last in the fridge in the appropriate drawer for about a week.

Steps for Baked Scallions
Here’s a perfect side dish for a light dinner, here’s how to prepare it. Wash the scallions, cut them into four parts lengthwise or into two parts depending on their size.
Place them in a baking dish side by side forming a single layer. Salt and, if you like, add a pinch of pepper.
Then sprinkle with a finely chopped mix of herbs along with the garlic clove, and dust with breadcrumbs. Drizzle a bit of oil on top and bake at 356°F.
Towards the end of cooking, move the baking dish to a high shelf and turn on the grill to gratinate. Once cooked, they can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container or covered with plastic wrap for a couple of days.
