Ingredients for the Air Fryer Delightful Tart

  • 1 roll puff pastry (round or rectangular as it will be trimmed)
  • 3 tbsp apricot jam (sugar-free as it contrasts with the chocolate sweetness)
  • 3.5 oz white chocolate (to be chopped with a knife)
  • 3 tbsp chopped pistachios

Tools

  • Air Fryer
  • Tart Pan
  • Spoon
  • Cutting Board
  • Knife

Preparation of the Air Fryer Delightful Tart

  • Roll out the puff pastry on the work surface, place it inside the tart pan making sure it adheres well to the bottom and sides, trim the excess (at the end of the recipe in the tips you’ll find a mini recipe to use the trimmings!).

  • Chop the chocolate with a knife, pour half of it on the bottom of the tart, spread the jam over it, and then add the rest of the chocolate (reserving 1 tbsp for decoration once cooled), finally add the chopped pistachios on top.

  • Heat the air fryer to 320°F, set the cooking time to 25 minutes, once hot insert the tart into the air fryer and complete the cooking.

  • Once the tart is cooked, remove it from the basket (be careful not to burn yourself!) and let it cool, remove it from the pan only when completely cooled, before serving, decorate with the reserved chopped white chocolate. Now you can enjoy this tart in all its special goodness!

TIPS

To use the puff pastry trimmings, proceed as follows: place the trimmings inside the air fryer basket, season them with 2/3 sprays of oil, a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper, and as much dried onion as you like. Then cook at 356°F for 7 minutes, turning halfway through, and you’ll get fabulous appetizer snacks!
