Melon Nana Icecream, a delicacy combining the freshness of melon with the creamy texture of ice cream, without using dairy.
The term “nana” in reference to ice cream comes from the word “banana.” Nana Icecream is a preparation made from frozen bananas that are blended until creamy, similar to ice cream. The name “nana” is a shortened form of “banana” used to indicate that banana is the main ingredient that gives the typical creaminess of ice cream.
This type of ice cream is particularly popular among those looking for healthier options compared to traditional ice creams, as it contains no dairy.
This recipe requires few ingredients and minimal equipment, essentially a good blender. It can be easily adapted with other fruits or additions like chocolate chips, nuts, or spices.
This dessert is naturally vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free.
In short, melon nana icecream is a great alternative for those craving a refreshing and healthy dessert during summer, maintaining the taste and sweetness of ice cream.
