Super soft and indulgent, these mini chocolate chip pound cakes are easy and quick to make, baked in an air fryer, really tempting and delicious mini cakes, perfect for breakfast or a snack!
I can’t tell you how long I’ve been craving them. Simple mini chocolate chip pound cakes to dip in milk in the morning.
Then, something more elaborate and time-consuming always prevailed.
But this time I decided to put aside an idea to make room for them, an idea postponed to the next day anyway.
And thank goodness because I missed them so much, it’s incredible how something so simple can be so desired daily, they are those things that never tire and please everyone.
In fact, they lasted very little between my husband and the kids, they disappeared!
Not only many of you asked me for treats made in the air fryer and I must say they turned out great.
I find the mini portions fantastic both to look at and to taste, it’s as if they are even more indulgent!
I always add some orange zest because I love the fragrance it gives, but you can easily omit it.
Don’t be like me, don’t wait and dive into baking right away!
It’s really a fabulous breakfast treat!

Steps
Mini chocolate chip pound cakes
In a bowl, mix the eggs with the sugar.
(You can use electric whisks but a hand whisk works too).
Add the milk and the butter melted in a bain-marie or microwave (make sure it’s not too hot) and mix.
Add the sifted flour and mix, then add the potato starch and baking powder, and work until smooth and lump-free.
Finally, add the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the molds lined with parchment paper. Don’t fill them too much.
Bake at 320°F for about 15/18 minutes, until the treats are lightly golden on the surface and a toothpick test returns dry.
(The times may vary depending on the type of fryer you use and how much you filled the molds, so check).
(If you want a crack on top of the mini pound cakes, bake them for 4 minutes, open the fryer, and with a knife, cut along the length, close, and finish baking).
Remove from the oven, let them cool, and enjoy.
Enjoy your meal.
