Strawberry Millefoglie Dove Cake
A dove cake made with puff pastry and filled with a delicious strawberry cream 🍓 It’s the perfect dessert for your Easter or Easter Monday menu, or even just for Sunday lunch or a dinner with friends! A very simple recipe that we can easily prepare in advance. If you are a fan of strawberries, you must try this cake. It’s also perfect for those who are egg intolerant since it’s not made with sponge cake but with puff pastry!

Ingredients for Strawberry Millefoglie Dove Cake:
- 9 oz strawberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Half lemon
- 3 sheets puff pastry (Round)
- 9 oz mascarpone
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 3/4 cup sugar

Preparing the strawberries:
Clean and cut the strawberries, add sugar, lemon juice, and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once ready, let them cool!
Open the first puff pastry roll, cut out the dove shape, prick it, then brush it with some milk.
Sprinkle some sugar on top and bake at 355°F (180°C) for about 20 minutes. Continue with the other two sheets in the same way. Add mascarpone, cream,
sugar and whip.
Assembly:
Place the first shape, add some strawberries, add a layer of cream using a pastry bag.
Place the second shape, some more strawberries, another layer of cream, and cover with the third shape.
Dust with powdered sugar and decorate as desired.
