Air Fryer Broccoli

Air fryer broccoli are a super quick side dish, they are delicious, and you can prepare them in just a few minutes, speeding up cooking times and thus facilitating the preparation of other dishes that include broccoli. You can serve air fryer broccoli as a side dish to accompany meat main courses or as a savory snack. Air fryer broccoli are delicious gratinated broccoli but without béchamel and equally tasty, I guarantee it! In this recipe, I explain how to cook broccoli in an air fryer. Oh, and to add flavor, I used my legendary aromatic breadcrumbs. Now heat up the air fryer and try the recipe!

Ingredients for air fryer broccoli

  • 1.3 lbs broccoli (or cauliflower, weight is cleaned)
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsps aromatic breadcrumbs
  • 1 pinch fine salt
  • to taste black pepper (amount according to your taste, I use plenty)

Preparation of air fryer broccoli

  • Remove the broccoli (or cauliflower) of waste parts, divide it into small florets, and rinse under running water. Let it drain well, then pat dry with paper towels;

  • Place the broccoli florets in the bowl, season them with the oil, salt, pepper, and aromatic breadcrumbs and mix well with the help of 2 spoons.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 300°F and once ready, insert the perforated parchment paper in the basket and place the seasoned broccoli on top, spread them out for comfort, and reinsert the basket. Cook for 20 minutes, turning halfway through. Here they are, the air fryer broccoli are ready to be enjoyed!

Notes

For this recipe, you can use the classic green broccoli or the white cauliflower as I did, they are the same for the purposes of the recipe.
