I pre-boiled the potatoes for about 20/25 minutes, then finished cooking them in the oven but only after seasoning them well with rosemary, salt, pepper, and some crushed garlic cloves.
It’s not really a recipe, it’s an idea since the work is minimal, but for Christmas and New Year’s meals, it’s cute and makes a statement!
Use the type of potato you prefer and perhaps accompany this side dish with a sauce with sour cream and herbs or with this RAITA mint-flavored sauce.

STEPS FOR PREPARING AROMATIC POTATO TREES RECIPE
boiled or already boiled for 20/25 minutes the sweet potato or for less time the regular potato ..To know if it’s ready, I decisively pierce it with a skewer and if it penetrates without resistance, I turn off the heat and let it cool!
I cut the tuber into slices about 0.4 inches thick and with the help of a mold, I make many trees (I use the leftover pulp for a mash or to make a dice along with other vegetables and fill a tart or a savory pie with puff pastry or brisée crust,
I arrange the aromatic potato trees on the baking tray lined with parchment paper and then season them with rosemary needles, the crushed garlic clove, and adjust with salt and pepper.
I bake in a preheated oven at 374°F and let them brown and flavor for about 20 minutes or depending on the characteristics of our home oven,
We are ready for our lunch/dinner!
