Notes and Tips
You can use a mixed beef-pork ground meat as I did, or other types of meat, such as veal, chicken, or turkey.
You can omit the bell peppers and onion, and simply add a few bay leaves to space out the meatballs.
As an alternative to grilling, you can bake the skewers in a fan oven at 350-375°F for about 20 minutes. Just place them in a suitable baking tray and brush them with a little oil.
