Preparation of Baked Chicken Drumsticks
Quickly rinse the chicken drumsticks, pat them dry with kitchen paper, and remove any feathers with tweezers.
In a large pan, heat a few tablespoons of oil with a whole garlic clove before adding the chicken drumsticks.
Sprinkle them with chopped rosemary and brown them over medium heat for 4/5 minutes on each side, turning them with tongs.
Then transfer them to a previously oiled baking tray and insert slices of half a lemon here and there. Then season them with a drizzle of oil, the juice of the remaining half lemon, a couple of generous pinches of salt, and a generous grind of black pepper.
At this point, sprinkle them with half of the breadcrumbs and half of the grated cheese.
Bake them in a preheated static oven at 356°F for 40 minutes.
After the first 20 minutes of cooking, remove the tray from the oven, turn the drumsticks, and sprinkle them with the remaining breadcrumbs and cheese.
Put the tray back in the oven and finish cooking. Then switch to the grill function for a few minutes until golden brown.
Bring the baked chicken drumsticks with cheese to the table directly in the baking tray and serve hot. If desired, you can decorate the tray with a few sprigs of rosemary and some lemon zest. Enjoy! Paola
