Ingredients
- 5 artichokes in oil (quantity as desired)
- 5.3 oz cream cheese (like Philadelphia)
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 baguette (small)
- to taste salt
- to taste chives
Tools
- 1 Immersion Blender
- 1 Grill Pan
- 1 Piping Bag
Steps
First, blend the artichokes together with the cream cheese (I used Philadelphia) with an immersion blender until you get a smooth cream without pieces.
Add a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, finely chopped chives, and mix well with a spatula.
Now, cut into slices (about 0.4 inches thick) a loaf of white or whole wheat bread (I used a type of bread called rubatà, with a diameter of 1.6 inches), place the slices on a grill pan and grill for a few minutes.
Alternatively, put them in the oven (or in a pan) with a drizzle of oil.
Then, place them on a serving plate.
Now you are ready for the filling: put the artichoke cream in a piping bag with a star nozzle and cover the bread crostini. Garnish with chives and serve.
Here are the Crostini with Artichoke Cream ready. Enjoy your meal!
Until the next recipe.
Storage
You can store the Crostini with Artichoke Cream in the refrigerator for 1 day, in an airtight container.
