Notes, Variations, and Tips
You can prepare a single bowl, or individual single-serving cups.
You can replace limoncello with lemon juice for a non-alcoholic version.
If you have leftover lemon paste, you can store it in the fridge: it is also great to dissolve in water or other drinks, for a delicious and refreshing beverage. If you don’t feel like making it (or don’t have a suitable lemon), you can replace the lemon paste with lemon marmalade.
Coconut is optional, you can omit it or replace it with other chopped nuts.
You can replace mascarpone (all or part of it) with Philadelphia or ricotta.
For the cream to be successful, the cream must be well whipped, so it should be very cold, as well as the beaters and the bowl.
