The translated name means ‘banana bread’, a recipe born around the 1930s in America, a no-waste recipe that became so successful that it is still prepared today. Making it is really very simple, both by hand or using a stand mixer. So let’s see how to prepare this delight.

  • The banana bread is really easy to prepare, it can be made either with a stand mixer or by hand using a bowl and a wooden spoon. You can also use small individual molds or one large one. You can also add nuts to the batter along with the chocolate, but if you don’t like them, you can make it with just bananas.

  • Cut only 2 bananas into small pieces and place them in the stand mixer bowl, then add the three eggs. If you don’t have a stand mixer, take a bowl and use an electric whisk.

  • Once the eggs are added, start the machine on low speed and let it run until the bananas and eggs are well combined and you have obtained a puree.

  • Now pour in the sunflower oil, sugar, pinch of salt, and incorporate all the ingredients, continuing to whisk.

  • Now add the flour and baking powder and whisk again. Add the chocolate chips.

  • Line a pound cake mold with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the mold, level the surface well, then slice the remaining banana in half and place it on the surface of the batter. To prevent the banana surface from browning, brush with lemon juice and also some jam of your choice.
