I’ll show you that it takes very little to make it super appetizing: a bit of cheese, some ham, and a nice cream will do the magic. Also, this delicious cauliflower is very easy to prepare. Ingredients for Delicious Cauliflower
Of course, you can increase or decrease the amount of brie and cooked ham according to your personal taste.
- 1 cauliflower (medium)
- 3.5 oz brie
- 3.5 oz cooked ham (thinly sliced)
- 1.25 cups milk
- 1.75 tbsp butter (+ extra for the baking dish)
- 3 tbsp flour
- 0.7 oz Grana Padano cheese, grated (or Parmesan)
- nutmeg
- salt
- black pepper

Preparation of Delicious Cauliflower
Clean the cauliflower, wash it well under running water, and divide it into florets, cutting the larger ones in half. Then steam them for about 15-18 minutes: they should be tender but still crunchy, so keep an eye on them after 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare a béchamel sauce according to the recipe described HERE: choose the dosage with 1.25 cups of milk, 3 tablespoons of flour, and 1.75 tablespoons of butter.
Lightly butter a baking dish and spread a thin layer of béchamel on the bottom.
Next, arrange the cauliflower florets inside, alternating them with slices of cooked ham and pieces of brie (I did not remove the rind). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
At this point, distribute the remaining béchamel over the surface and sprinkle everything with the grated cheese.
Bake the delicious cauliflower in a preheated static oven at 392°F for 15 minutes, then switch to grill mode for another five minutes or until the surface is golden brown.
Remove the delicious cauliflower from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving it directly from the baking dish. Enjoy! Paola
