Oat Bran Pancake Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons oat bran
  • 4 tablespoons light cream cheese
  • to taste sweetener
  • 6 tablespoons egg whites

Tools

  • Pan – non-stick
  • Bowl

Preparation of Oat Bran Pancakes

  •

In a tall bowl, mix all the ingredients until you obtain a soft and smooth batter, then heat a pan over medium heat and pour the batter using a spoon.

Cook for about 5 minutes, when the pancake is cooked on one side, flip it with a spatula and let it cook for another 5 minutes and they’re ready.

Susy’s Tip

If the pan is not non-stick, you can put a little oil and remove the excess with a paper towel.

You can enjoy them with a slice of bresaola or light cream cheese on top. If you’re following the Dukan diet, try the light pudding recipe!

For those following the Dukan diet

In the attack phase, tablespoons of oat bran are one and a half.

In the cruise phase, tablespoons of oat bran are two.

But why oat bran?

Because it promotes intestinal activity. It does not contain gluten and is also rich in fiber, which increases in volume when in contact with water, giving us a feeling of fullness and reduces the absorption of lipids and sugars. So, it’s perfect.
