Recipe for Pasta with Feta, Salmon, and Cherry Tomatoes

  • Start preparing the pasta with feta, salmon, and cherry tomatoes by washing the cherry tomatoes and cutting them in half. I used both yellow and red ones, but only one type is fine.
If your salmon fillet has skin, gently remove it.

  • Place the Greek feta, salmon, and cherry tomatoes in a baking dish.
Season with extra virgin olive oil, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano.

  • Bake everything in a convection oven at 350°F for about 25 minutes.
If your oven only has a static mode, bake at 390°F for about 30 minutes.

  • Remove from oven and crumble both the Greek feta and the salmon with a fork.
Mix well so that the ingredients of the dressing are evenly distributed.

  • Cook the pasta al dente in salted boiling water.
Drain it but save a little cooking water.
Add the pasta to the feta-based dressing.

  • Mix with a spoon and if the pasta is too dry, add some cooking water.
Finish the preparation of the pasta with feta, salmon, and cherry tomatoes with some fresh basil leaves.
    Serve immediately.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  • Can I add chili pepper?

Of course, in my house, I’m the only one who eats it, so I avoid adding it. You can either add chili flakes or spicy oil at the end of the recipe.

  • Are datterino tomatoes okay?

Yes, they are perfect! In this case, you can reduce the cooking time by about five minutes.
