Cod Fillets in Air Fryer. It’s a great fish main course, especially if you use fresh filleted cod. Obviously, it is delicious and light.

If you don’t have an air fryer, baking in the oven works just fine.

Its flavor will be enhanced by a very light breading enriched with a very quick frying in the air fryer, making it even more exquisite.

It’s a smart dish ideal to serve if you have very little time in the kitchen and also suitable for children.

If you want, you can also fry it, but if you want to eat something lighter, without compromising on taste, here’s the best solution.

My nephews devoured it.. and that says it all, because even they, like many children, turn up their noses at fish on the table, but presented this way, they didn’t stop at the first piece.

Once cooked, the cod is usually served with a splash of lemon and can be accompanied with all kinds of vegetables, boiled, gratin, and fresh.

Cod is also rich in protein and B vitamins. Its mineral content is very important; in fact, it is rich in phosphorus, iodine, iron, and calcium.

With air fryer cooking, it will be even healthier because you will need to add very little oil during cooking.

Perfect as a dinner or lunch saver! Try them, they are special!

Advice

You can enjoy the cod fillets as they are or flavor them with a splash of lemon before serving them at the table.

During the breading phase, you can also add black pepper, but don’t overdo it, as the very delicate flavor of the cod might be completely covered.

Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
