Advice
The shortcrust pastry can be kept in the refrigerator for at least a day; otherwise, for longer storage, you can freeze it.
With a pinch of turmeric, you can give that golden color typical of classic shortcrust, but even so, light, it is still beautiful and delicious.
If you need a double batch of dough, then I suggest using a stand mixer because it would become tedious to knead it by hand.
And not only that, since it would take much more time, there’s a risk that the dough might heat up, which is not ideal for shortcrust.
