Advice
You can store the peppers for 1-2 days in the refrigerator, but always inside a container, preferably glass, with an airtight seal.
Otherwise, you risk them absorbing odors and flavors from other foods stored in the refrigerator.
Many add garlic to this recipe, but I prefer not to, because for some people, peppers are already heavy on their own.
Additionally, depending on the garlic, it may cover the sweet flavor of the peppers.
