Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups flour (nutrifree mix for desserts)
- 1 cup fresh whipping cream
- 1 tbsp baking powder for gluten-free desserts
- 2 apples
- 1 orange (untreated or lemon)

Steps
Wash the citrus fruits well and dry them, then grate the zest and set aside. Peel the apples and cut them into slices about 1/8 inch thick, place them in a bowl and drizzle with lemon juice.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar using an electric mixer at maximum speed. When the mixture is light and foamy, slowly add the cream while continuing to beat at medium speed.
Add the sifted flour with the baking powder and gently mix with a spatula to combine the mixture. Finally, add the citrus zest. Pour into a greased 10×10 inch baking pan and decorate the surface with the apple slices.
Bake for about 30 minutes at 356°F in a preheated static oven. Remove from the oven and let it cool before dusting with powdered sugar.
