Steps to Make Fried Meatballs

  • In a large bowl, add the meat which you can substitute with mixed meat, and you can also add sausage or ground mortadella. Add the seasonings, salt, pepper, and the aromatic herbs you prefer, and for those who like it, you can add a zest of lemon.

    Fried Meatballs
  • Add the grated cheese. Soak the breadcrumbs in water, but you can also use milk, squeeze it, and add it to the mixture. Also, add the eggs.

  • Mix all the ingredients using your hands, it will be easier, but you can also use a spoon.

  • Fried Meatballs
  • Mix until you get a workable mixture, the dough should be soft. Start forming balls by greasing your hands with a little oil. To facilitate this operation, I use the Stainless Steel Ice Cream Scoop.

  • Place a pan with plenty of oil on the stove, fry the meatballs in small batches, turning them often. As they are cooked, drain them and place them on a plate with some absorbent paper.

Serve them accompanied by French fries or green salad.
