For those who are not very familiar with shortcrust pastry, I would say this recipe is just ideal. It’s very easy and quick; just mix all the ingredients for the pastry with your hands. Ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg (medium)
- 1 egg yolk
- 2/3 cup butter (soft)
- 1 tsp lemon zest (grated)
- Half pod vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 Golden apples
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup raisins (soaked in water)
- 1/3 cup pine nuts
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp powdered sugar

Steps
Peel and dice the apples. Put them in a pan with the sugar, raisins, and lemon juice. Cook for 5 minutes without letting them disintegrate. Let cool.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Take a large bowl and add flour, sugar, and baking powder. Mix and then add the previously beaten eggs, grated lemon zest, and salt.
Add the softened butter at room temperature. Knead all the ingredients with your hands to form a crumbly mixture. Prepare the springform pan with the base covered in parchment paper, put half of the crumb mixture on the base, and pour over the apples with raisins.
Sprinkle with pine nuts and cinnamon. Take the other half of the dough and cover the entire tart without pressing down. Bake in the middle rack for 35 minutes. Turn off the oven and leave the door slightly open for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let the Crumble Tart with Strudel Filling cool. Decorate with powdered sugar.
Storage
The Crumble Tart with Strudel Filling can be kept in a cool place, covered with a dome.
