I love chickpeas and chickpea crisps are delicious, a tasty snack made in a few minutes, baked in the oven or in an air fryer like I did, and it’s perfect any time of the day.

Very simple to make, the chickpea crisps are a great snack made quickly with chickpea flour or pre-cooked chickpeas, just add water, oil, and chopped rosemary, mix and spread on parchment paper, a few minutes of cooking and they are ready to crunch.

CHICKPEA CRISPS with Rosemary

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups chickpea flour
  • 6.8 fl oz water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 sprigs rosemary

Steps

  • Pour the flour into a bowl, add the salt, water, and oil, and mix well.

  • Chop the rosemary into small pieces, you can also use dried, and add it to the bowl, mix again.

  • The mixture is sticky, do not add more flour.

  • Oil the parchment paper and your hands and spread the mixture, using water-dampened hands, spread very thinly then oil the surface.

  • Bake at 356°F for about 20 minutes, until golden and dried, or in an air fryer, like I did, dividing into pieces and cooking individually at 392°F for about 6 minutes.
