Do you know when you get that craving for something tasty and tempting? I mean those times when we think of street food that is often eaten quickly, mostly without the use of cutlery.
In this recipe, I had the chance to experiment with skewers of minced beef seasoned with oil, salt, paprika, tomato paste, and breadcrumbs. They are very easy to prepare as you just need to mix all the ingredients together and then form elongated meatballs along a wooden skewer.
The presence of paprika characterizes these skewers, which I finally cooked on an electric grill, giving an ideal result for this type of dish. Sure, if I had the chance to cook them on a barbecue, they would have been even better, but at home, I am happy with equally valid alternatives!

Ingredients
For Meat and Paprika Skewers
- 14 oz minced beef
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 1 slice white sandwich bread
Tools
- Skewers
- Grill Pan
Steps
To make the Meat and Paprika Skewers
First, take the minced beef and place it in a bowl large enough for the subsequent steps.
Then add the rest of the ingredients to the minced meat, including the oil, sweet paprika, salt, tomato paste, and finally a slice of white sandwich bread, finely chopped.
At this point, mix everything using your hands to form a well-blended and compact mixture.
Now proceed to form the skewers by taking a portion of the mixture, about a 1.75 oz ball, and shaping it elongated by skewering it on a wooden skewer.
Continue forming all the skewers little by little until the mixture is used up and place them on a plate before cooking.
For this step, prepare the electric grill by setting it to medium-high heat. Once it reaches the temperature, cook the skewers directly on the grills, turning them often for even cooking.
To finish, once cooked, place the skewers on a cutting board or plate and accompany them with your favorite sauce. For example, I chose an avocado-based sauce similar to guacamole.
Tip!
You can add other ingredients to the mixture like pepper or grated cheese. If desired, you can also use alternative minced meats such as chicken or pork with the same procedure.
