Here is a very soft cake with the taste of figs, excellent at any time of the day. The main ingredient is blended figs used whole without removing the skin. Naturally, it is always good to buy seasonal figs between August and September and absolutely free of chemical treatments. The Fig Bread Ring is very easy to prepare, make it too!

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 tsp fine salt
- 1/3 cup corn oil
- 1 packet baking powder for desserts
- 9 oz figs
- 1/2 cup sugar

Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Break the eggs into a bowl, add the sugar, beat them into a cream with the electric mixer, and add the oil. Wash the figs very well, put them in a tall-sided container and blend them with the immersion blender without removing the skin. Add the blended figs to the egg mixture and continue using the mixer.
Add the sifted flour and baking powder, the salt, and mix from bottom to top using the spatula. Pour the batter into the buttered and floured pan and place in the oven at mid-height. Bake for 35 minutes, checking, then turn off the oven and leave it for another 5 minutes with the door ajar. Remove from oven, let cool, and invert the cake onto a plate. Blend the remaining figs and put them in a pan with the sugar. Cook for 10 minutes then pour the hot sauce over the Fig Bread Ring.
