Vegan Panettone with Single Dough
The panettone is a dessert that absolutely cannot be missed at Christmas, but for people who are intolerant or vegan, it can become a problem. If you have vegan or intolerant friends this year, you can think of making a unique gift that they will greatly appreciate. I decided to share with you a recipe for vegan panettone with a single dough to reduce preparation time but still get a good panettone ☺️. Last year, I made the Vegan Pandoro with Single Dough, so you can choose whether to make panettone or pandoro!!!

Ingredients for the Vegan Panettone with Single Dough:
1 kg mold
- 3 1/4 cups Manitoba flour
- 0.7 oz fresh yeast
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 7 tbsp vegetable margarine
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1/2 cup almonds
- Panettone flavoring
- Orange paste
Steps
The preparation of the vegan panettone with a single dough is very simple, watch the video HERE.
We put the flour, sugar, crumbled yeast, orange paste, panettone flavoring, milk a bit at a time, and knead. Knead for 10/20 min at low speed,
we need to obtain an elastic dough. After about 20 min, add the margarine in pieces and knead again until it’s fully incorporated. The dough is ready when it detaches from the walls.
At that point, we add the almonds and raisins, then mix. We transfer the dough onto the work surface and form a ball. We put it into the mold
let it rise until it triples in volume, then make a small cross incision and add a piece of butter. Bake at 350°F for about an hour.
Enjoy your meal!
