Ingredients

  • 12 oz ridged sedanini
  • 7 oz Emmental cheese
  • 3.5 oz cooked ham (diced)
  • 7 oz cherry tomatoes
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste oregano
  • A few leaves basil

Tools

  • Baking dish
  • Pot
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Steps

  • Take the sedanini and cook them in a pot with plenty of salted water. Once the cooking time is over, drain them and cool them under cold running water. Then set them aside in a baking dish and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil to prevent them from sticking together.

  • Let’s focus on the seasoning

  • Wash the cherry tomatoes well under running water, dry them, quarter them, and set them aside in a glass baking dish.

  • Take the Emmental cheese, cut it into small cubes, and add it to the tomatoes.

  • Cut the cooked ham into cubes or buy it pre-cut and add it to the tomatoes and Emmental.

  • Season with extra virgin olive oil, oregano, and salt, and gently mix with a spatula.

  • Add the previously cooked and cooled sedanini and combine everything.

Taste and, if necessary, adjust with salt and/or extra virgin olive oil.

  • Our sedanini with ham, Emmental, and cherry tomatoes are ready.

Serve decorated with a few fresh basil leaves.
