Tiramisu Truffles
Very cute little balls perfect if you need a quick dessert or if you’ve made a cake and have leftover Sponge Cake. I often find myself with leftover Sponge Cake that I hate to throw away, so I try to give it a “second life”. I chose to call them “Tiramisu Truffles” because I used the ingredients found in Tiramisu, (mascarpone, coffee, and cocoa). If you don’t have Sponge Cake, you can also use crushed cookies or ladyfingers, adjusting the liquid quantities. These are sweets you can serve on any occasion, even for Christmas festivities or at any dessert buffet.
