Here’s the story, I made a savory pie with vegetables and had a significant amount of shortcrust pastry left over. Since I absolutely hate wasting food, I immediately thought about what I could create.
First, I gathered all the leftover pastry into a sort of dough ball and rolled it out again with the help of a rolling pin to reach the same original thickness. Then I cut out discs with a cookie cutter and set them aside.
All this because I already had in mind to create some sweet treats filled with Nutella® to then cook in an air fryer and finally sprinkle with some powdered sugar. I must say, with much surprise, the result was excellent and greatly appreciated by everyone, especially the little ones.

Ingredients
For the Nutella® Shortcrust Pastry Ravioli
- 1 sheet shortcrust pastry
- to taste Nutella®
- to taste powdered sugar

Steps
To make the Nutella® Shortcrust Pastry Ravioli
First, roll out the shortcrust pastry and cut out discs using a cookie cutter
Then flatten the discs a bit more with your fingers and place a dollop of Nutella® inside with the help of teaspoons
Next, cover with another disc and seal the edges well to prevent the filling from leaking during cooking
Continue in the same manner, forming all the other ravioli until you run out of ingredients, then place them inside a small baking tray lined with parchment paper
Finally, cook in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 340°F, checking the cooking visually
To finish, place your cooked ravioli on a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving
Tip!
You can also bake your ravioli in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
