The recipe for baked gratinated vegetable snacks is a delicious and enjoyable idea for a side dish, or for a brunch plate with sliced vegetables sprinkled with herbs and a mixed breadcrumb and grated cheese coating!
Honestly, I only used carrots and zucchini, but we can also add leeks, slices of Tropea onion, and much more to personal taste.
The coating is tasty, and a final squeeze of lemon juice gives an intriguing twist to the taste. It might be a simple dish, but it’s very good!
As a side dish, it can pleasantly accompany both meat and fish dishes, and we can coat the vegetables in advance, then cook them for about twenty minutes before serving them at the table!

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE GRATINATED VEGETABLE SNACKS RECIPE
Simply wash all the vegetables, remove the inedible parts, and slice everything into similar-sized wedges.
In a bowl, I add breadcrumbs, grated cheese, and all the spices I prefer.
I preheat the oven to 375°F and put the freshly cut vegetables into the bowl with the spices and coating, mixing well to coat them with the salty mix.
Line the rectangular baking tray with parchment paper and spread the breaded mixed vegetables in a single layer if possible.
Bake and let cook for about 20/25 minutes or depending on the characteristics of the home oven.
Before serving, I add a quick squeeze of lemon juice or organic peel and … we’re ready to taste!
Enjoy your meal!
