Today I thought of making some cookies for a snack and I wanted to make cookies with red wine but not finding a recipe I liked I opted for a classic like cream and chocolate cookies small homemade pastry. The cookies are not too sweet and in fact, the powdered sugar sprinkle at the end fits perfectly…
They are very simple cookies to make, and you can shape them as you like or suitable for the event you want to celebrate, like little trees for Christmas, sheep for Easter, hearts for Valentine’s Day, etc. etc. etc.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (NOT WHIPPED)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup butter
- as needed powdered sugar

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE CREAM AND CHOCOLATE COOKIES RECIPE
Cream the soft butter with the sugar then add the egg, the fresh liquid cream not whipped, the sifted flour with the unsweetened cocoa and finally the baking powder.
Mix well and make a dough and cover it with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for about 30/40 minutes.
Then roll out the dough after resting with the help of parchment paper slightly sprinkled with granulated sugar, cut out the shapes you prefer
and place in a preheated oven at 340°F for about 15 minutes adjusting according to your oven’s baking modes.
Let cool on a rack, sprinkle with powdered sugar, maybe making a pattern like the one in the photo and … Enjoy your meal!!! Annalisa
