NO-BAKE ORANGE FROSTING CREAM

The super-fast recipe for no-bake orange frosting cream is a real delicacy and is ready in 5 minutes without turning anything on in the kitchen!

I made a small amount because, as those who kindly follow me know, my family consists of just me and my son, who is also very critical to be polite,

when it comes to food and therefore some preparations go all into my tummy and I don’t want to overdo it!

For this sweet orange-scented cream I tried a natural powder flavor brand DECORI’ (not DECORA) purchased at the new ALDI supermarket opened about a week ago very close to my home on via Dozza.

orange aroma I put the photo so it’s easier to recognize this product which is natural based on corn starch, natural orange aroma, and dried zest and is very fragrant!

The quantity as you can imagine is to fill a 7-inch cake, no more, and if you need a larger quantity, I invite you to double the doses you find below.

If you have orange aroma vials in the pantry, do not look for the ingredient I put, add the vial always a little at a time, I recommend, to get just the flavor you like!

The CITRUS aroma is a very used aroma in the kitchen for pastries, and also on my blog, you can find many recipes with this flavor. I’ll leave you some ideas but remember that by clicking on the magnifying glass just below the blog title, you can insert the ingredient you are most interested in and find other recipes that I hope will interest you! Thank you 😊

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE NO-BAKE ORANGE FROSTING CREAM

  • We start the recipe for this delicious cream by squeezing half an orange and grating the whole orange zest.

As always, you can adjust these ingredients according to your personal taste, so if you want the frosting creamier, add a little more juice!

  • In a bowl, I put the creamy cheese (Philadelphia, Exquisa, or another of your choice) and start mixing it with a spoon to soften its consistency.

I add the orange juice, powdered sugar blending well to make everything homogeneous.

  • Now I added the Decorì powder flavor, always incorporating it into the already made mixture, and then after covering with plastic wrap, I put the bowl in the fridge until it’s time to fill the cake or enjoy the orange frosting cream with simple cookies.

Let’s face it, it’s a piece of cake, just mix together and adjust the citrus taste and the cream is ready!

    Enjoy your meal!

ORANGE CREAM WITHOUT… butter, eggs, milk, and sugar

Annalisa says…

Browsing the blog after making this delicate and intensely creamy orange sauce, I found some recipes that also add melted butter… but I believe it’s much better this way!

If we really want to lighten it, so to speak, especially if we are talking about calories, we can add a few tablespoons of semi-whipped cream… just my opinion!
