Ingredients RECIPE GOOD MORNING CAKE
- 3 eggs (medium)
- 190 g sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (corn for me)
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup plain natural yogurt
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 5 tbsp Nutella® (or other chocolate cream as desired)
- to taste sugar sprinkles

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE GOOD MORNING CAKE RECIPE
Spray the release spray on all the walls and bottom of the 8.5-inch diameter cake pan and start the recipe..
Put the eggs in a bowl and after adding the sugar, start beating everything for at least 7/8 minutes, obtaining a light and fluffy mass.
Add the liquids, i.e., vegetable oil and yogurt, and also the vanilla extract or the lemon zest if you prefer… Personally, considering the addition of Nutella before baking the wake-up cake, I added the vanilla extract made by me (recipe → https://blog.giallozafferano.it/asilannablu/estratto-di-vaniglia/)
Finally, add the all-purpose flour sifted with baking powder, mixing with a soft spatula and upward movements to not deflate the fluffiness of the good morning cake.
Pour the batter into the pan with the release spray, level it, and also add 5 generous spoonfuls of chocolate and hazelnut cream, for me Nutella.
Sprinkle the good morning cake with sugar sprinkles, trying to place them discreetly and evenly.
Then bake in static mode at 356°F until fully cooked, about 35/40 minutes or depending on the characteristics of our home’s oven.
Once cooked, and the toothpick test is always reliable, turn off the oven and let it cool completely, then remove from the pan and place the morning cake on a wire rack for cakes.
It’s not too sugary, it has the consistency of a bundt cake, and it’s perfect for breakfast and snack!
