Skillet flatbreads, a simple and quick recipe. These are soft flatbreads prepared with a few genuine ingredients such as flour, water, oil, and salt, ideal as finger food to serve at a buffet or as a tasty accompaniment instead of bread.
Also try the milk buns for buffets and the soft and tasty Sicilian mini pizzas.
The flatbreads are cooked in a non-stick skillet over low heat, but if you prefer, you can also bake them in the oven or air fryer. For the filling, you can choose according to your taste, with cold cuts and cheese for a timeless classic, a gourmet version with mortadella, pistachio, and stracciatella, or a vegetarian option with guacamole and shrimp, or grilled vegetables and vegan spreadable cheese.
