Pumpkin bread

Ingredients

  • 10.5 oz pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup sunflower oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 4/5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 tbsp milk (warm)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 3 tbsp chocolate chips
  • 1 packet baking powder

Steps

  • Peel the pumpkin; remove the strings; wash it, dry it, and cut it into cubes. Blend it with a mixer while adding the sunflower oil to make a puree.

  • In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar. Once they are pale and frothy, add the pumpkin puree. Mix and gradually add the sifted flour, milk, spices, and finally the chocolate chips and sifted baking powder.

  • Pour the mixture into a loaf pan (10 inches) lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about an hour. Use a toothpick to test if it’s done.

  • Let the pumpkin bread cool down and enjoy it immediately, or if you can, enjoy it the next day, it will be even better!
