- 1.1 lbs fresh scallions
- 7 oz smoked bacon
- to taste grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 drizzle extra virgin olive oil
- 2 pinches salt
- to taste black pepper (freshly ground)
Preparation of Baked Scallions with Bacon
To prepare Baked Scallions with Bacon first remove the root from the scallions.
Then wash them well and remove the damaged green leaves, leaving only the bright and fresh green ones.
Preheat the oven to 350°F in static mode.
If the scallions are too large, cut them in half and wrap each with a slice of smoked bacon.
You can use flat bacon or rolled bacon if you have it available.
Arrange them in a baking dish without overlapping, salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle with grated cheese.
