  • Continue stirring with a wooden spoon, and when the gianduiotti have melted and mixed with the rest, turn off the heat and let the cream cool. Once cool, pour in the alcohol, stir, strain the cream with a sieve, and bottle it in washed and dried bottles. I add a few drops of alcohol to the dry bottle, shake it with the cap I will use, and drain. This is to ensure I have a clean bottle. The liqueur is ready to be served or gifted.

Notes

The Gianduiotto Cream Liqueur is stored in bottles in the refrigerator. When serving, it should be shaken and poured into small glasses. On cold evenings, it can be served warm by pouring just what you need into a small pot on the stove or warming it for a few seconds in the microwave.
