Advice
If you want to prepare ham lasagna in advance, you can freeze it either cooked (obviously cold) or raw. Personally, I prefer to freeze it cooked; then, you just need to take it out the night before and heat it in a hot oven until thoroughly warm. It will taste freshly made!
Alternatively, you can prepare it in the evening, leave it raw in the fridge, and cook it the next day just before lunch.
If you like, you can add diced mozzarella to the filling.
For a stronger flavor, you can replace cow ricotta with sheep ricotta.
