How to Prepare Parmesan Finger Food Chips
The Parmesan rinds in the microwave undergo a very quick transformation from hard, extremely hard to eat as they are, into a cloud.
2 minutes in any microwave, so no special tools needed, just a classic microwave like almost everyone has at home, and voilà.
Clean very well the Parmesan rind by scraping it with a serrated knife, then rinse it quickly. Dry it with paper towels.
Cut it into chunks slightly larger than 1/2 inch, then place them spaced apart on a plate (that can go in the microwave) with parchment paper underneath.
You can also place them directly on the microwave’s turntable, always with parchment paper.
Set the maximum temperature (900w) and “cook” the Parmesan chips for 1 minute.
Let them rest outside the microwave for a few moments to cool down; otherwise, you will definitely burn yourself.
If your microwave doesn’t reach 900w of power, no problem, extend the cooking time for another 30 seconds.
If they are still soft, set another 30 seconds. Let them rest and go.
Serve them in a small bowl or a serving tray and accompany with honey that everyone can sprinkle on top of the Parmesan finger food Chips before enjoying.
How to Store Parmesan Finger Food Chips
You can store them in a tin box for 2 days.
