Extremely soft and delicate strawberry, ricotta and apple cake, it will be hard not to have seconds, a perfect dessert to be enjoyed at any time of the day just like a slice of olive oil tart with strawberries and apples.
It is a particularly soft dough thanks to the presence of ricotta, which gives it a really pleasant consistency like the ricotta and blueberry cake, but the real stars of this dessert are the strawberries that make it fresh and delicious like the strawberry and cream cake or the rustic strawberry tart.
Another ingredient that makes this cake special and comforting is the apples. Desserts with apples, have their own charm, taking you back in time when grandma used to bake tall, chubby, and fragrant cakes like the apple and cream cake or the apple, yogurt, and blueberry cake
Anyway, I recommend trying this combination of flavors and I am sure it will win you over from the first bite. But let’s see what we need to make the extremely soft and delicate strawberry, ricotta and apple cake it will be hard not to have seconds

Steps
LET’S PREPARE THE CAKE
TO MAKE THE CAKE, YOU CAN FOLLOW THIS RECIPE
Pour everything into a roughly 9.5-inch diameter cake pan, or your preferred size, lined with parchment paper. Arrange the strawberries, cut into quarters, in an alternating spiral with the apple sliced thinly. I used the apple with the skin on. Bake at 350°F for about 35-40 minutes, but adjust according to your oven. I used the fan setting. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
DO NOT USE OVERLY RIPE STRAWBERRIES AS THEY ARE HEAVIER AND WILL FALL TO THE BOTTOM. WASH AND DRY THEM WELL BEFORE PUTTING ON THE CAKE. ALWAYS USE FRESH INGREDIENTS AT ROOM TEMPERATURE.
