Frosted Christmas Oreos

With the Frosted Christmas Oreos I’ve done it again…

I’ve prepared a non-recipe, a cute little idea to maybe make if we have kids or grandchildren—a fun way to present the famous American cookies for the Christmas and New Year’s period!

I don’t have much to tell you except to carefully prepare the frosting by adding the liquid, which can be just water or water with a drop of lemon juice very slowly, because if the frosting becomes liquid, it won’t be useful for making defined lines and will turn into a mess… I know from experience sob sob!

If you look closely, even if it’s not so evident, the decorated CHRISTMAS OREO cookie in the center of the photo is dipped in melted white chocolate but I confess I prefer those with white frosting!

I saw a photo and thought of replicating the decorated CHRISTMAS THEME cookie where we can change the colors of the frosting, we can use other cookies, even simple butter shortbread maybe made with the amazing Milano shortcrust by Iginio Massari
