Lasagna with Salmon, Burrata, and Pistachios

A baked main course today with the recipe for lasagna with salmon, burrata, and pistachios, a very appetizing dish with fresh egg pasta and a delicate and creamy sauce with fresh salmon fillets.

We are closing the month of October and already looking forward to recipes for the upcoming Christmas season, and this layered lasagna with fish could be a delightful idea to add to the holiday menu.

Lasagna is a festive dish, it is a dish that requires some time but can be prepared in advance and finished just before sitting at the table with family and friends.

I used fresh salmon, but you could also use smoked salmon, adding some herbs such as thyme, dill, and fennel, all spices that go very well with salmon.

– julienned zucchini briefly sautéed with a drop of extra virgin olive oil:

– replace burrata with mozzarella;

– remove the béchamel and make a light cream with ricotta, robiola, and creamy cheese.

  • 1.1 lbs egg lasagna (for me fresh)
  • 1.3 lbs salmon (fresh in fillets)
  • 2 cups béchamel
  • 12.3 oz burrata
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1.8 oz chopped pistachios
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE RECIPE LASAGNA WITH SALMON, BURRATA, AND PISTACHIOS

1) For the preparation of the recipe for lasagna with fresh salmon, burrata, and chopped pistachios, start by removing any bones from the salmon and shredding it with a fork.

2) Blend the burrata with the buttermilk in which it is kept, then mix in the warm béchamel and the coarsely shredded salmon.

3) Also add the lemon zest and season everything with salt and pepper.

4) Start composing the lasagna by placing a little béchamel on the bottom of the baking dish, then the pasta sheet, the cream of burrata, béchamel, and salmon, and a little chopped pistachios.

5) Continue until all ingredients are used, and bake for about 25/30 minutes in a preheated static oven at 374°F.

6) Once cooked, let the lasagna with fresh salmon and burrata rest for a few minutes before serving the individual portions to my guests.
