Steps for Preparing Puff Pastry Dessert with Yogurt and Strawberries
Wash the strawberries and cut them into pieces. Season half with the juice of half a lemon and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Let rest for 10 minutes.
In a saucepan, put the remaining strawberries with the juice of half a lemon and two tablespoons of sugar. Cook over low heat for about ten minutes, stirring often. Let cool completely.
Whip the cream with two tablespoons of sugar. When it’s well whipped, incorporate the yogurt and mix until you get a homogeneous foam. Add the “raw” strawberries, mixing.
Only just before serving, to maintain the crunchiness of the pastries, place a layer of puff pastries in a baking dish. Cover with the yogurt and strawberry mousse. Decorate with the sautéed strawberries and bring to the table.
Storage
You can prepare the yogurt mousse and sauté the strawberries in the pan the day before. Assemble the dessert only shortly before serving it.
