To make it, I used the Thermomix and cooked it in an air fryer, but you can use regular electric whisks and bake it in the oven. Ingredients

THE GINGERBREAD BUNDT CAKE THE GINGERBREAD IN A VERY SOFT AND FRAGRANT BUNDT FORM

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 3.5 oz muscovado sugar
  • 1.75 oz brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2.1 oz golden syrup (juice of one lemon, water 2 tablespoons, 1 teaspoon sugar))
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • flavor (grated orange zest)
  • 1 egg white
  • 7 oz powdered sugar
  • a few drops of lemon
  • decorative sprinkles

  • 1 Electric whisk

Steps

LET’S PREPARE THE BUNDT CAKE

  • Place the sugar and the orange zest in the bowl and blend for 10 seconds at speed 10

    Add the eggs, mix for 2 minutes at speed 4, then add the cooled melted butter, and subsequently all the other ingredients for 40 seconds at speed 5. Grease and flour a bundt cake pan of about 10 inches, pour the mixture and bake, at 350°F, for about 35 minutes but always adjust to your oven.

    AIR FRYER COOKING 20 minutes at 392°F

    Meanwhile, prepare the glaze. Place the ingredients in the bowl and blend for 10 seconds at speed 6. If it is too thick, add a few drops of lemon.

    Once cooked, remove from the oven, let it cool and then glaze and decorate with sugars or as you like best.

    PROCEDURE WITHOUT THERMOMIX

    Whisk the eggs with the sugar, add the butter, the grated orange zest, and then all the rest of the ingredients. For baking, proceed as above.
