Ingredients
- 2 sheets puff pastry
- 5 tablespoons Nutella®
- 1 egg yolk
- to taste granulated sugar
- to taste sugar sprinkles

Steps
Preheat the oven to 356 degrees Fahrenheit.
Unroll the first sheet of puff pastry and lay it with its baking paper on the baking sheet.
Pour the Nutella in the center and spread it evenly, leaving about 0.4 inches of border free.
Unroll the second sheet and place it over the first. Position a cup in the center of the puff pastry and, with the help of a sharp knife, cut 16 strips around it like rays. (starting from the edge of the cup and moving outward).
Take 2 adjacent pastry segments and twist them both inward, making 3 turns. Continue with all segments until you obtain the classic shape of a snowflake.
Brush the entire surface with the beaten egg yolk and sprinkle the surface with granulated sugar.
Bake for about 20/25 minutes until golden.
Remove from oven and let cool before transferring the puff pastry snowflake to a serving tray.
Sprinkle the surface with sugar sprinkles and serve.
