The orange meatloaf, a really tasty and delicately flavored main course that conquers every type of palate.
With grandma’s recipe, you can never go wrong! Grandmothers are special; in addition to leaving beautiful memories, they also leave fantastic recipes with guaranteed success and with simple and genuine ingredients like the famous Grandma Luisa’s Easter Crescia or Grandma Rina’s simple Ciambellone, two recipes that I am very fond of.
This orange meatloaf strongly reminds me of past Christmases at my grandma’s house with my whole family, cousins, and uncles. Grandma prepared many things, including this simple meatloaf, as she called it, and it was the first dish to be finished.
I find it fantastic, delicate, and creamy. I recommend you try it, and I’m sure its simplicity will win you over immediately. Let’s see what we need to make the orange meatloaf.

Steps
LET’S PREPARE GRANDMA’S ORANGE MEATLOAF
In a large bowl, knead the ground meat with the egg, salt, parsley, bread soaked in milk and then squeezed, Parmesan, and the grated orange zest. Mix everything well, shape the meatloaf, and coat it in flour. In a pan, brown the garlic with its skin, crushed with the oil, then add the meatloaf and cook it well on all sides. When it is nicely colored on each side, add the wine and let it evaporate, then add the orange juice, lower the heat, season with salt, and let everything simmer for another 10 minutes, making sure the sauce doesn’t reduce too much. Finally, add the milk, and you’ll see a delicious cream sauce forming. Turn off the heat and let the meatloaf cool well before slicing it. Reheat it and serve it hot, and if you like, you can accompany it with delicious potatoes.
