Puff pastry crackers with pizza flavor a quick idea really ready in less than 30 minutes to have some tasty flaky squares and golden baked in 10/15 minutes with the classic pizza taste!
Of course, the idea is overused and over-seen to the limits of unbearable, but it’s a basic idea that we can do even at the last minute if, like I often do, we have in the fridge to our rescue, a roll of PUFF PASTRY already prepared!
The filling of the puff pastry is extremely simple: tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, broken fresh basil leaves, and a sprinkle of grated Grana cheese!
And of course, we can vary it, enrich it in 100 different ways, adding a dice of vegetables just sautéed in a pan, a mix of cheeses shredded or sliced, sliced cooked ham, spreadable cheese enriched with smoked salmon, olive pesto, lots of aromatic herbs and… surely you will have other tasty and equally easy ideas to enrich the taste of the puff pastries with pizza flavor!

Steps
1) I roll out the ready puff pastry sheet on the work surface
2) With a fork, I pierce the ready rectangular puff pastry
3) On one half of the puff pastry, I put the TOMATO PUREE (HERE THE BLOG RECIPE)
4) I then add the MOZZARELLA shredded, basil leaves, and a few tablespoons of grated Grana.

6) With a fork, I seal well the edges of the future pizza-flavored flaky crackers and with a knife, I lightly trace the pizza-flavored squares even before baking the puff pastries with tomato and mozzarella.
7) I beat the egg and brush the surface of the seasoned puff pastry and filled, also adding dried oregano to further enhance the flavor of the pizza-flavored flaky crackers.
8) All that’s left to do is bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 15/20 minutes or depending on the characteristics of your home appliance.
9) Here are the ready appetizing and tasty pizza-flavored crackers!

To say pizzaiola opens the mind to a delicious sauce that we can use to flavor thin slices of meat but also to season cod fillets, even frozen!
