Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (white)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup sunflower seed oil
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • flavoring (I use vanilla)
  • 2 packs mikado sticks
  • 1 pack sugar-coated colored eggs
  • unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)
  • nutella or hazelnut cream as needed

Tools

  • 1 Bundt cake pan approximately 10 inches

Steps

NOW LET’S PREPARE THE CAKE STARTING WITH THE BUTTERMILK

  • First of all, put the buttermilk ingredients in a bowl, mix them, and let them rest for 15 minutes.

    Beat the eggs with the sugar until they are nice and frothy, add the oil and faux buttermilk gradually, add the flavoring, cocoa, baking soda, vinegar, and sifted flour gradually. Mix everything well and pour into a greased and floured bundt cake pan. Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes but adjust according to your oven and always do the toothpick test. Remove from the oven and let it cool well before decorating.

    DECORATION

    Spread some hazelnut cream and dust with cocoa powder, then start breaking the mikado sticks
