Yogurt tiramisu is a delicate, fresh dessert that is very easy to prepare and irresistible. It is much creamier thanks to the absence of mascarpone, which is replaced by Greek yogurt, creamy but with much fewer calories. Prepare it in advance and enjoy it when you have some time to savor it in peace. Yogurt tiramisu can also be served to the little ones, perhaps replacing coffee with barley coffee or a milk and cocoa syrup. Let’s get to work and prepare yogurt tiramisu together.

Preparation of yogurt tiramisu

  • Prepare the coffees and let them cool. Whip the fresh cream, which must be very cold, until stiff peaks form. Gently add the yogurt (if you like, you can also add vanilla extract for flavor) until you have a smooth cream.

  • Whip the yolks with the sugar. I used 2.8 oz of yolks in a carton, so I didn’t have to pasteurize them. They should be light and frothy. Gently incorporate them into the yogurt and cream mixture.

  • In a baking dish, alternate the ladyfingers soaked with coffee and the yogurt cream. Continue with these 3 layers until the ingredients are finished. Place in the fridge for 2-3 hours before serving. Just before serving, sprinkle with unsweetened cocoa powder.

Storage

Store the tiramisu in the fridge for no more than two or three days.

Yes, of course, you can make just a cream with cream and yogurt. In this case, add the sugar when you whip the cream.

  • What if I don’t want to use coffee?

For soaking, you can use milk, milk and cocoa, or barley coffee.
