  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2/3 cup sunflower oil
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 2 tbsps coffee grounds
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

LET’S SEE HOW TO PREPARE THE PLUMCAKE

  • To make the coffee plumcake, you need to whip the eggs with the sugar very well and they should be nice and fluffy, then gradually add the oil, then the water, then the coffee grounds, and the flour with the baking powder. Mix well and pour almost all the batter into a plumcake pan and to the remaining batter, add the unsweetened cocoa, then pour it over the white batter. Bake at 350°F for about 35 minutes, but always adjust according to your oven. Remove the cake from the oven and dust with powdered sugar. I assure you it is a real treat.
