Quick dessert with figs
- 4 Figs (black, green, or purple)
- 4 Walnuts (or other nuts)
- 2 tablespoons Ricotta (and/or mascarpone)
- as needed Chestnut honey (or wildflower)
- mint (fresh – optional)
Quick dessert with figs
Prepare the nuts by roughly chopping them by hand. Transfer them to a flat plate.
Then, gently wash the ripe but firm figs for a short time. Remove the top stem (apex) and slice them crosswise into four parts from the top without reaching the bottom (be careful not to break them).
Place a small amount of honey in a cup. Dip the bottom of the figs first in the honey and then in the chopped nuts.
Place the fruits on a serving plate.
Inside each fig, place a small amount of ricotta, sprinkle with additional walnuts, and drizzle with honey.
Serve the quick dessert with figs immediately, sprinkled with chopped fresh mint.
